About Me

My name is Razvan Vlad Stoichita, I was born in Romania and I'm 24 years old.

Ever since I remember, computers are the biggest part of my life. Growing up in Sibiu, Romania, I started taking programming lessons in Turbo Pascal at the age of 13 and then I continued learning about web-design. The web-design local, nationwide and Europe-wire competitions were my greatest achievements throughout high-school. Nevertheless, I gained strong knowledge of hardware ever since I had my first computer: a 386 Intel PC with a 33Mhz processor and a Hard Drive of 80Mb from which the motherboard, unfortunately, was capable of recognizing only 42Mb. At the age of 19, my life was completely changed: my family and I moved to US, hopping to achieve the highest goals of our lives. It was right then when I applied to University of South Carolina, for the only major that I ever dreamed of: Computer Engineering.

Finally, after four years of hard work and study, on May 9th 2009, I was happy to hear my name called from the graduation list. Throughout the college years, I accumulated real life work experience in the IT field. Attending school with a full time schedule, I mostly worked as an intern and improved my knowledge with detailed concepts of software and hardware. Among those, support and troubleshoot of a wide range of applications and hardware is what best describes my hands-on-experience. With a focus on LANs and WANs, I started to be more and more inclined towards network infrastructure and security. My experience reflects advanced networking skills and I am very conscious about those. I also am conscious that technology is changing not every year, but every day, and I am willing to learn more advanced concepts so that I can take my career to the highest level.

This is a brief summary about me and hope it was interesting.

Raz.
